What you don't want to hear in a hotel room @ 5AM

1. bang bang bang ... open up this door
2. bang bang bang ... you have 15 seconds to open this door
3. I know it says "do not disturb", but this has gone way beyond that
4. bang bang bang this is the Columbia police department, you have 15 seconds to open this door
5. bang bang bang, we will break down this door, open up
6. We are breaking down the door and you will have to pay for it ... very loud bang

Ok, this was our experience this morning and it was a little scarey! Grissom went crazy ... and we watched it all out of our peep hole across the hall. I don't think they broke down the door ... I missed that part because Jerry was yelling at me to find out what was going on. Jerry said he watched three guys being escorted out of the room by the police. We are assuming drugs, but assuming can get you in trouble. When we left this morning the hotel cart that has all the towels etc was sitting outside of the room and was there for several hours. Who knows! It sure made for some excitement, but it took us a little while to get back to sleep.

Hope all are doing well!

Now see??? When that happens again (Maybe in Branson? Wouldn't that be fun!!) You ask around... you find out more... you open the door just a smidge and get more details... C'mon! 4 AM or not, you really were NOT on your toes... ;)

At first I thought they were banging on your door. I wonder what kind of hotel you were staying in. That is a little scary. Dave & I were forced out of our hotel at 4 am in St. Louis last week by a fire alarm. That was a fun experience, too.
